For all individual membership categories, there is a one-time application fee of 15 USD. 
For Supporting membership, the one-time application fee is 80 USD.

Master Member: For Gendai Reiki Masters

  • Online Hatsureiho practice and prayer for universal peace: Held every Monday for 20 minutes in Japanese, English and Spanish.

  • Online Monthly Koryukai: A 60-minute interactive Reiki practice and discussion session, available in Japanese, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, with different dates each month. "Koryu means interaction and Kai means gathering. We practice Gendai Reiki exercises together, strengthening our connection with Reiki in a warm and supportive environment. Detailed schedules are shared in our monthly email newsletter and on our Facebook member page.

  • Online Master Workshops: Available for a fee in several languages. The Master Workshop fee is $15.

  • GRN Newsletter (PDF): Published twice a year in English and Spanish.

  • Weekly email distribution: The Emperor Meiji Gyosei Poem.

  • Monthly email distribution: Questions and Answers with Hiroshi Doi Sensei.

Annual Membership Fee: 84 USD (7 USD/month). With the PayPal's 5% international fee, the total will be 88 USD.

Practitioner Member: For Levels I through III Gendai Reiki practitioners

Hiroshi Doi Sensei, the founder of Gendai Reiki Ho, has established the rules for all Gendai Reiki Masters in the International Common Standards for Gendai Reiki Masters. Please select your language, download the document, read it carefully, and follow the guidelines.


The International Common Standards for Gendai Reiki Masters are published in the languages into which the official manuals have been translated.
